Troupe
Our troupe classes (AKA Stage Classes) are reserved for examination students only. These are performance based lessons for students to compete in eisteddfods as well as perform at various gigs throughout the year, as booked through GY DANCE.
As well as competing, all students involved in Troupe classes perform in our End Of Year Concert, held in December of each year. They will also perform some selected routines in our Preschool & Recreational concert held in November.

Our dance classes are taught by some of Sydney’s most sought after choreographers and professional performers.
All teachers are dedicated in training students to become professional performers themselves.
They are keen to pass on their skill and experience in the entertainment industry to our students.
Choreography
Troupe students learn original choreography in the styles of Commercial Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary & Lyrical, as well as Musical Theatre.
Performances
Our Troupe students book regular performances throughout the year, including the GY DANCE End Of Year Concert, held in December of each year.
They will also perform some selected routines in our Preschool & Recreational concert held in November.
Competitions
Our troupe students regularly compete in dance competitions, representing the GY DANCE studio. This includes group routines, as well as solo, duo and trio with other GY DANCE students.
